My holidays in Segovia, Burgos and Andalusia

I've been to Segovia, Burgos and Andalusia.

In Segovia I was four days, I visited the aqueduct, the castle, the Alcazar, the statue la Capitolina, the farm and cathedral.

Segovia is very beautiful.

The aqueduct (Segovia) and the cathedral of Burgos

In Burgos I was four days, I visited the cathedral, the church, the statue of the Cid, the monastery of "Las Huelgas", parks, the square Abastos, the theatre, the Espolon, the castle and an important fountain.

In Burgos there is a tourist bus which goes to important places.

In Andalusia I was twenty days, I visited my family and the virgin of "La Cabeza".
In Segovia, Burgos and Andalusia I had a good time, because I visited the most important places.

Simply... ENGLAND 2006

In September, my friends and I went to England on a scholarship. We were very excited because this travel meant it was going to be the first and probably the last time that we would be together as a class and as a group.
Those two weeks were very special because there were both good and bad moments. We were excited and also sad. The first days were very difficult for me because I had to adapt to the new foreign culture –the food, the time, the weather…- but later, everything was OK. My partner and I had to change family because the house was frightful. It was really painful but maybe I have learned to value things that I didn’t value.

My holidays in the north of Spain

These holidays I've been to Aranda de Duero (South of Burgos). I've been there for 15 days. It's a traditional village where food is really tasty. People are very kind but also with a closed mind. The countryside and the city are fused in a spectacular view of Aranda de Duero. I went to parties with my friends and my girlfriend in Ribera del Duero. I visited other towns of Castille.
I also went to Bilbao the last week of August because there was Aste Nagusia( The Big Week). Bilbao is a beautiful city.

My holidays in "La Font del Pi"

It's better not to expect much from my summer holidays. Some people think that in three month's time you can do as many things as you want. To the people who say that I say: not a change! Believe me, if you get a summer job and you want a good contract, you spend all the summer working. This summer I've been working in a restaurant as a waiter. I can't say many things about a great holiday 'cause I didn't have any free days! It sounds horrible, I know, but If you need cash you've to get a job and not give up. I enjoyed these three months. My boss was very kind and generous and my mates were hard-working and nice. I admit that it wasn't easy at all. When you're a waiter you have to take responsability and be very kind with people. But after all, I think that I did a good job and I will try it again next year. I need to pay for my university studies. But I have a question: Will I ever see the beach again?

Nowhere on holidays!

This summer I didn't go anywhere because I started to work in Glorias, Shopping Centre.
But one weekend of August I went to Port Aventura with my parents and my sister.
Besides, the last weekend of August I celebrated my eighteen birthday in Marte (a disco).
This place is situated in l'Escala.
In short, I have worked very hard this summer, but I feel very happy because I have won a lot of money for my future car.

My holiday in Madrid

I' ve been to Madrid with my friends.
I went one day because my parents were in Guadalajara.
When we arrived in Madrid 's theme park we divided ourselves in some groups.
I was with some friends.
We were walking round the Park when we arrived at the "Abismo".
Abismo is very famous a roller coaster.
It was the last ride we could have that day.
I thought it was quite dangerous, so I didn't want to ride on the attraction, but my friends wanted me to do it.
Eventually, I rode on the Abismo, and I remember that when I came down, I felt ill and very sick.
That day I had a horrible experience, but I admit that it was my best day in Madrid.

New York, New York!

I've been to New York, the Niagara Falls, Washington DC and Philadelphia.
What I really liked was the Big Apple, getting wet under the Falls and being able to see the Amish in front of me!

Don't miss the views from the Empire State, the Brooklyn Bridge and of course, see a musical in Broadway. It's a must! I also really recommend you to go to a church and listen to the choir sing gospel. It's absolutely fabulous. I felt like jumping and dancing!
Below you can see a graffiti from the Bronx and the firemen of New York City in action.

Last summer I went to Lisbon and I had a great time there. I highly recommend it to you!! Taking a stroll through the Chiado area is a must. You can also visit the Sao Jorge Castle, or go to the Miradouro de Nostra Senhora do Monte, from there you will get an excellent view of the city.
Hop on and off the trams, have a coffee while you see the tourists and locals passing by, get lost in any of the quiet streets, there are lots of things to do!
Sintra and Cascais are the villages I visited that best keep the Portuguese flavour. Don´t forget to taste their cheese and cream cakes. You won´t regret it!!
